In-Kind Donations
Looking to Donate Clothing or Basic Needs Items?
Thanks to an amazing new partnership with Maine Needs, Preble Street will be able to better meet the basic needs of Mainers experiencing homelessness or who have recently moved out of homelessness into housing.
As of Friday, April 18, 2025, Preble Street will no longer accept donations of individual in-kind, non-food donations. All clothing, hygiene, and household items can be brought to Maine Needs at their new location at 2385 Congress Street. Preble Street will use the resources at Maine Needs to serve clients who are experiencing homelessness or have recently moved out of homelessness into housing.
