Preble Street founder Joe Kreisler said, “I am a human being. Part of my job, part of being alive, is making sure that other people are too.”
Your donation to Preble Street does just that.
Last week we gathered to remember 43 people who died this year from the ravages of homelessness and poverty. Their average age was just 48 years old.
Since 1975 Preble Street has worked to ensure that the most vulnerable people in Maine can not only make it through another day but also break the cycle of homelessness. From a nutritious meal to crisis intervention, from clean clothes to case management, from showers to a permanent home, Preble Street programs help people as they move beyond the crises in their lives to long-term stability.
But we can’t do it alone. We need you.
Your gift to Preble Street helps bring your neighbors home, not just for the holidays, but for good.
