HOW YOU CAN HELP
We could not do what we do without the support of businesses, organizations, churches, and YOU.

Every week 150 community and consumer volunteers lend a hand. The value of donated goods and volunteer time to Preble Street is $500,000 annually. In addition Preble Street depends on the generosity of the community for over 50% of operating funds.

We welcome your time, financial support, or in-kind donations.

One meal or breakfast for a year, once in a while or every week, work boots for someone trying to turn their life around or a gift to our annual operating fund, every gift helps those most in need.

VOLUNTEER
Breakfast Program
Volunteers needed 7 days a week 7:00-10:00am for prep, cooking, serving and clean-up at the morning soup kitchen, where we serve 200+ people every day!

Clothing Closet
Preble Street makes clothing, toiletries and housewares available free of charge. Help us sort and distribute donations weekdays.

Food Pantry
Over 100 families come to the pantry each week to get an emergency supply of fresh and non-perishable food items. Volunteers are needed to help pick up perishable food donations, sort them, and distribute them to those in need. Help out on Thursdays 9:30-11:30am and/or 1:00-2:30pm.

Teen Meals
Since our Teen Center opened, we have provided lunch and dinner daily to 40-60 teens. We need extra hands in our kitchen to prepare, cook, serve, and clean Monday-Friday from 10:00am-1:30pm and seven days a week from 5:30-7:30pm.
